Less boat ramp.
More boating.

Big boats are brilliant. Until you have to tow them, store them, launch them, retrieve them and clean them.

The 386 takes a different approach. At 3.86 metres long with a 1.75 metre beam, it gives you a proper fishing platform without turning every trip into a military operation.

Hook up. Launch. Fish. That’s the point.

How a Makocraft is built

Welded tough.
Built right here.

Every Makocraft is designed and built in Australia, with no compromise on materials or craftsmanship. Twenty years of refinement, backed by a family that has been building boats for more than fifty.

01

Marine-grade aluminium

Light enough to tow behind the family car. Tough enough for Aussie ramps, rocks and reefs.

02

Fully welded thwarts and foredeck

The seats and front deck are welded in, giving the hull strength right where you sit and stand.

03

Solid welded transom corners

The back of the boat carries the motor, so it’s built to take the load, trip after trip.

04

G2 Edge bottom hull

Makocraft’s own hull design on the 386, shaped by years of real-world testing on Australian water.

Back local. Twice.

Buy a Makocraft and you’re backing an Australian family boat builder, sold and looked after by a local WA dealer in Malaga.

Why the 386?

Newly launched in 2025, the 386 exists because Makocraft customers asked for a compact Topper Tracker that could comfortably carry four adults. The wide beam and flat bottom keep it stable even fully loaded, with plenty of deck space left for your gear.

Where would you take it?

Chase fish.

Sneak into creeks, rivers and estuaries and get closer to where the fish actually are.

Explore more.

A boat this easy to tow opens up the spots you’d think twice about with a bigger rig.

Just go.

The best boat isn’t always the biggest one. It’s the one that makes getting out there easy.

Powered by Honda BF20

Small motor.
Serious grunt.

The BF20 sits right on the 386’s 20 hp maximum, and it makes every one of those horses count. A big-capacity, long-stroke design pulls hard from low revs, not just flat out, so the boat feels strong whether you’re trolling a drop-off or running home into a chop.

60%Of the usual pull to start

01

Torque at any speed

High-output displacement and a long-stroke design give you strong, smooth pull right across the rev range.

02

Smart ignition

Honda’s Programmed Ignition (PGM-IG) sets the timing from start-up all the way to full throttle, so it always runs at its best.

03

Starts first pull

A decompression release and digital CDI cut the effort to about 60% of a normal pull-start. Electric-start models add Auto Start Enrichment for quick, easy warm-ups.

04

Keeps your gear charged

A 12 amp alternator on electric-start models keeps the battery topped up for your sounder, lights and pump.

05

Easy to drive all day

Tiller models get a longer, lightweight composite handle, fingertip forward shift and a twist-grip throttle with tension control.

06

Light and easy to carry

Seriously light for its power, with a fold-away handle set at the exact balance point so it carries level.

Some features depend on the BF20 model. A Power Thrust option is also available. Ask us which setup suits your boat.

Why Honda

Built by the world’s
biggest engine maker.

Honda builds more engines than anyone on the planet. That know-how goes into every outboard, with clever features that keep it running sweet for years in salt water and sun.

Honda outboard close-up on the water

Four-stage corrosion armour

Every Honda outboard gets a double-sealed anodised base, epoxy primer, aqua marine silver paint and a clear acrylic topcoat. Built to shrug off salt and UV.

Built-in alert system

The engine keeps an eye on its own temperature and oil pressure, and warns you early if something isn’t right.

Fresh water flush

A dedicated flush point lets you rinse salt and grit out after every trip, a simple habit that adds years to the motor.

Clean-water reverse

In reverse, exhaust gas is directed away from the propeller, so it bites clean water and backs up with real control.

Quiet, clean four-stroke

Low noise, low emissions and low fuel use. You hear the water, not the motor, and spend less at the bowser.

Engineered for life

Low running and maintenance costs, Honda’s famous durability and a Malaga workshop down the road to look after it.
